The
Omega Project is a European-time-based Player
Association. This, however, does not mean we aren't interested
in applications from other parts of the world. They are encouraged
to play according to our schedule in order to
be an integral part of our P.A., and as long as they are willing
to commit the time, there should not be a problem. We are aligned
with the Empire. Our highest priority is achieving
the goals of the Emperor. This means we do not accept criminals,
neutrals, and - above all - rebel scum into our ranks.

Who are we? And what do we wish to achieve?
The
Omega Project was created following the destruction of the Death
Star caused by the Rebels. It came into existence as a top-secret
project under direct order from the Emperor himself. It includes
only the most elite of the Emperors agents. The projects goals
are unknown to outsiders and even the highest-ranking generals
in the Imperial Army are left in the dark. The true goals are
only revealed to the individuals who prove themselves worthy to
join the cause. It has been said the greatest spies have disappeared
when seeking knowledge about The Omega Project, never to be heard
from again. Those who are affiliated with The Project should value
their ignorance....

As
a P.A our goals are simple:

We work together for the advancement of the cause and support
our individual members. A strong bond will be forged between our
members, to ensure our mission will be successful.
- We uphold the law of the Empire, and aim for the total annihilation
of the Rebel scum and all who oppose The Omega Project: You’re
either with or against us.
- We will set up a base as soon as possible to extend our reach
across the galaxy. As of yet the location is unknown.

We aim to have a huge guild fund ready by the time the space expansion
launches.

Expectations & Law.

We do not have many rules in the P.A., but you must live
by them strictly.

We are not casual gamers. If you are someone
who just wants to pop in for a few hours per week, you won’t
be accepted into the project.

As an elite agent of the Empire, we expect you to think
before acting. Your actions reflect directly on the P.A.
- Treat people with respect. This especially applies to people
outside our P.A.
-
Play fair and do not cheat in any way.
-
If there are planned events - and you are online and have time
- remember why you joined this cause. We expect you to
attend. Your dedication is needed to complete the goals
of The Omega Project.
- If conflicts should arise, you are expected to handle them appropriately.
Distasteful scenes will not be tolerated. Handle disputes privately
or via a High Council Member.

P.A. Structure.
In
order to maximize the efficiency of The Omega Project, the P.A.
has been structured in such a way that communication and cooperation
are at their peaks.
The
7 executives composing The High Council deal with administrative
concerns pertaining to the highest priority issues arising in
the P.A.
The infrastructure is subdivided into 3 Departments: Combat, Support,
and Design & Manufacturing. Three additional leaders will
form a Lower Council in supervision of the aforementioned Departments.
The Lower Council is obligated to keep the High Council apprised
of the advance of The Omega Project and the general state of affairs
under his/her command. Lower Council members also serve as representatives
and intermediates in the communications between members and the
High Council.

Application Process.
The
application process consists of the following steps:
1)
The applicant completes the form located on our
website.
2) The Recruitment Official ensures it meets MINIMUM requirements.
3) If so, the application proceeds. If not, it will be denied
and the applicant will be notified.
4) Once accepted, the application will continue to be processed.
This normally takes about 7 days but is dependent
on the number of applicants being considered at that time.
5) Once it is decided the applicant could be an addition to our
cause, he/she will be assigned a sponsor (if
one has not already been found). Combat professions will also
be subject to further testing in the field of PvP.
6) The trial period normally spans 2-3 weeks.
However, in special cases, it may be extended if deemed necessary.
7) At the conclusion of the trial period, a final vote will be
held and the applicant will be notified of the result as soon
as the votes are in.
As you can see the entire
process of recruitment takes about a minimum of 1 month.

Please
note that the charter is dynamic. It is always subject to change
as the guild deems necessary. This is especially likely directly
following the launch of SWG, as there will be a rapid burst of
knowledge concerning game mechanics that will likely entail many
adjustments.
